Mr. Tope Oyadokun is the Deputy Director of the Site Planning and Management. With over a decade of experience as a geospatial analyst, Tope Oyadokun plays an active role in the Site Planning and Management department at the Nelson Mandela Institution. Tope’s expertise is rooted in advanced academic training, holding first and second degrees in Surveying and Geoinformatics, while also bagging the Surveyors Council of Nigeria’s seal as a registered surveyor.
Recognizing the complexity of modern institutional development, Tope has further specialized with professional diplomas in Project Management and Construction Management. This unique blend of geospatial science and construction oversight ensures that NMI’s site development projects are executed with precision, regulatory compliance, and structural integrity. Tope is committed to leveraging geospatial data and modern management frameworks to enhance the Institution’s physical landscape.
A key highlight of Tope’s tenure at NMI was leading the geospatial modeling, mapping and oversight of the major culvert project—a critical piece of infrastructure connecting the African University of Science and Technology’s main gate to its permanent campus. Beyond this landmark project, and a host of many others, Tope oversees the ongoing spatial planning and site management of the Institution, ensuring that all physical developments are precise, sustainable, and aligned with the Institution’s long-term master plan.
